Of course, everyone wants their dream trip to go smoothly, but sometimes unexpected things can happen. Understanding the cancellation and change conditions for ferry tickets in advance will help you plan with peace of mind. Let's take a look at the rules in simple terms!

🛑 Cancellation Policy

Cancellation terms and conditions vary depending on the "room type" and the "cancellation period". The closer to the travel date you notify us, the higher the cancellation fee will be.

1. For standard room types (Inside, Oceanview, Verandah Staterooms)

  • 100 days or more before departure: 🎉 Free cancellation! (Full refund received)
  • 99 – 55 days before departure: Deduct the deposit (10%)
  • 54 – 40 days before departure: Deduct 50% from the total price.
  • 39 – 25 days before departure: Deduct 75% from the total price.
  • 24 days until the departure date: Deduct 100% (Non-refundable).

2. For premium rooms (Suite & Concierge Staterooms)

  • 100 days or more before departure: ⚠️ Deposit deducted (10%)
  • 99 – 55 days before departure: Deduct the deposit (10%)
  • 54 – 40 days before departure: Deduct 50% from the total price.
  • 39 – 25 days before departure: Deduct 75% from the total price.
  • 24 days until the departure date: Deduct 100% (Non-refundable).

💡 Editor's Summary: To put it simply, if you book... Standard room If you change your mind and cancel before 100 days, you'll get a full refund! But if you book... Suite or Concierge room Regardless of when you cancel, at least the 10% deposit will be forfeited.

Important additional information you should know!

  • Activities on board: If you have booked an add-on package (such as a spa or makeover package at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique), you can cancel it up to 24 hours in advance for a full refund.
  • 🛡️ Regarding travel insurance: Disney Cruise Line (DCL) insurance only covers residents of the United States. Therefore, it is highly recommended that you purchase separate international travel insurance. For peace of mind and to cover any emergencies that might force the trip to be canceled.

🔄 Change Policy

If you don't want to cancel, but just want to adjust your plans, Disney is kind enough to allow you to modify your booking with these relaxed conditions:

  • 1. Change Sailing Date: can free! No additional fees (just pay the difference in price for the next boat trip, if any).
  • 2. Change Stateroom: can free! (Pay only the difference in price for the new room, if any.)
  • 3. Change Passenger Name: can free! But there's an important condition: “"There must be at least one original passenger remaining on that booking."” (It is not possible to change the name of the entire room.)

The iron rule of change: Every change (travel date, room type, or passenger name) Notification must be given at least 90 days in advance. Before the original travel date!
