Traveling to Singapore is very convenient these days because we no longer need to fill out small paper immigration forms; everything has been switched to an online system. Let's see what you need to prepare.

📝 Step 1: Before your trip (Fill out the SG Arrival Card online)
This is what you need. “"Must be done."” Before flying to Singapore:
- Visit the official website: Go to https://eservices.ica.gov.sg/sgarrivalcard/ (Or you can download the MyICA Mobile app.)
- Application period: The system will be open for pre-registration. Just 2 days Only before arriving in Singapore (e.g., if your flight is on the 10th, you can start filling it out from the 8th onwards).
- Information you need to prepare: Passport, outbound flight number, and accommodation details in Singapore (if arriving by plane and immediately boarding the cruise, please specify Marina Bay Cruise Centre as your accommodation or as indicated by the cruise line).
- Visa-free for Thai citizens: Thai passport holders do not need a visa and can stay in Singapore for a maximum of 30 days.
- 💡 Editor's Trick: Once you have filled in the information and clicked confirm, the system will send you a barcode. It's recommended to take a screenshot or print it out and save it on your phone. Just in case there are internet problems at the border checkpoint.
🛬 Step 2: Upon arrival at Changi Airport.
- Just go straight to the Immigration Checkpoint (ICA).
- Currently, most Thai passports can be used to pass through the gate. e-Gate (Automatic Scanner) Sure thing! It's very convenient and fast! Or, if anyone prefers a different approach, they can also use the regular lane to see an officer.
- Things to hold in your hands: Original passport and SG Arrival Card (Proof of Arrival) screen Here's a screenshot.
🚨 Step 3: "Important Things to Know" for Cruise Ship Travelers! (Don't miss this one!)
This is something that often confuses newcomers. The editor would like to explain it clearly:
- Boarding a ship = Leaving the country: Legally, once you step aboard a Disney Adventure ship and it sails out of port, you are considered to have "departed Singapore." Therefore, the date indicating departure from Singapore on your first SG Arrival Card is... “"The day the ship departed"” This isn't the day I'm flying back to Thailand!
- Boarding a ship = Entering a new country: And when the ship sails back to port in Singapore on its final day, guess what happens? That's right… you're about to "enter Singapore once again!"“ That means you'll need to create a new SG Arrival Card online again. Before disembarking (you can use the internet on the ship or while waiting in line to board).
